Product/Project Brief
The need for detailed and precise briefs at the beginning of projects are often overlooked, which can lead to significant bloat and unintended costs. For several clients we offer a curated briefing process that allows all stakeholders to properly engage with a project at its inspection and set up fully designed aims. As part of this service, we help setup and chair these initial meetings either over one or several sessions and provide the associated documentation that the business can use going through the project lifecycle.
Project Planning
Without specific project management expertise many companies struggle with long term or wide scope projects, finding keeping them on track difficult without dedicating extra resources that might not be available. From a completed brief, which we can also assist with, we can design a project plan engaging all stakeholder allowing smooth and productive flow. We also participate at milestone meetings and can chair/oversee update meetings for large projects, providing in impartial oversight to maintain sight on core project goals.
Contract R&D
Many companies, while experts in their own products, lack the resources or sometimes space for extended R&D. R&D can be anything from pre-project research, industry & standards changes, competitor investigations and legacy reviews. More physical R&D can either be conducted at the customer site or at Willows Laboratories premises, which allows access to resources your company may not have access to or would normally not be available for extended non-business activities.
R&D Tax Credits
The UK process for claiming tax credits for R&D related activities and may companies are underestimating what can be claimed or are simply not claiming where they could. What can be equally problematic for businesses is over-estimating what can be put on a claim, potentially risking penalties. Willows Laboratories have partnered with a specialist Tax compliance company to offer consulting and advice for submissions as well as ongoing support.
